From prior blog: Have an odd ball question. Got a Kakko jersey and was able to find an Opening Night patch. That patch was only worn during warmups. Does anyone know somebody who went Opening night and might have a picture from warmups? Need to see which shoulder the patch was on, so I can get it sewn on. |

I knew Panarin was a good hockey player before the rangers signed him but he’s way way better than I thought. He’s fun to watch and very smart. Some shifts are a bit to long but I’d rather see him out there on a long shift compared to others |

Same. I had no idea he was so good away from the puck. Haven't had a player of his caliber in a very long time |

I think a lot of us knew how good we was offensively, at least to a certain degree. What stands out to me most is how good he is with his stick. Some guys just seem to have a velcro blade where they always come out of scrums with the puck on their stick and that's him. Whether it's holding onto the puck in traffic or picking off passes the puck somehow always ends up on his stick. It's an absolute pleasure to watch. He is worth every penny, at least so far. |

I've only watched one Ranger game and as a Jets fan I just want to ask Ranger fans if they are still happy about the $8 per year for the next 7 years that they'll be paying Trouba? |

It's a small sample size so far, but I have no issue with it. |

with as young as they are , almost expect highs & yesterday's low , hopefully no lower But to hear some of the team quit & got down ? where's the vet presence NOT letting the game get to you.... thats a problem
With ques. on L A & his deployment ,the georgiev move , the 3 21 yr olds
starting on D Is Libor NOT able to keep up, Is Trouba in trouble with injury ?
With a strong new core , ample vets ,picks, prospects we should be a team always
in the rumor section ... I . E . A A on Detriot is big ,fast .?
Needed Krieds Smith HAnk Fast hold the kids accountable as well as themselves |

Tornado,
I've rooted for you guys from afar in the playoffs the past few times the Jets made it and I never really got the hype with Trouba. He looks like he should be a really good player, but he's not. Not bad, but not great. Kinda like the Matt Ryan of the nhl. I felt the same about skjei 2 years ago, so I'd come back in 15 months and gauge where everyone is at then. JK |

Damn glad I missed last night's game. Going to see Tool tomorrow night, so I'm kinda bummed to miss what should be a strong bounce-back game. |

Trouba is leading the Rangers in icetime, hits and blocked shots
I think the points will start coming, the whole team is still trying to find it's footing
with all these kids on the blueline, a lot is being asked of Trouba right niw

Quinn said Kakko will be a game-time decision. Trouba is good to go. #NYR |

Trouba was approaching UFA and is a defenseman
Nico was one year from even becoming a RFA for the first time, they are not comparable
Nico could very well be worth it ultimately, he's still making 925K this year, but I'd certainly hope to see some offensive growth before that big money kicks in |
